Terms of Service

You may use ReceiptWell to scan and organize receipts, track spending and mileage, and produce reports and exports for your own business or personal records. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for the accuracy of the information you enter or approve.

You keep all rights to the receipts, images, and data you put into ReceiptWell. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content to run the Service for you. We do not claim ownership of your data, and you can export all of it at any time.

The Free plan is free. Pro is billed monthly or annually through our payment processor (Stripe). You can cancel any time from the customer portal; when you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge a cancellation fee. Prices are shown before you subscribe. Taxes may apply based on your location. Exports remain free on every plan.

ReceiptWell provides tools and estimates — including deduction and tax-saved estimates — to help you organize your finances. These are informational only and are not tax, accounting, or financial advice. Always confirm your filings with a qualified professional. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you file.

Please do not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, no uploading of content you have no right to, and no use that infringes others' rights. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

We work hard to keep ReceiptWell running well, but we provide the Service “as is” and cannot guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReceiptWell is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the Company is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
